NALGONDA MISSION:

Nalgonda Mar Thoma Mission is one of the mission fields of the Mar Thoma Evangelistic Association initiated in the year 2017 in the state of Telangana as a tribute to the birth centenary of Padma Bhushan Most Rev. Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan. The mission activities are spread over the villages among the Andhra-Telangana border region in Peddavoora, Nagarjuna Sagar, Hill Colony, Pylon, Kattikarlagudam, Garnekunta, Vemaguda, Suryapetta, Theppalavadu and Buvanagiri. The evangelistic work is also going on in the tribal community of Benjara and Yerukula Mandal Chanju and many people came to know God through the mission activities and attending Telugu worship service and Holy Communion services. By God’s grace, we were able to acquire one acre of land in Peddavoora village in Nalgonda district, Telangana for the expansion of mission activities of Nalgonda Mar Thoma Mission among the Telugu speaking community.
