MANTRALAYA MISSION:

Manthralayam Mar Thoma Mission is a mission field in the Diocese functioning under the Kottayam-Kochi Diocese. The Mission Activities involve a School, Balawadi, Sunday School and VBS. The faith community, seekers, and children of our mission regularly worship together. On the first and third Sundays of every month, Holy Communion is held in Telugu, and ordinary worship is held on other Sundays. As we do not have a church, regular worship and communion take place in the classrooms.  A Balawadi is functioning in Sugur village. Students come together there to do curricular and extra-curricular activities. Mantralayam Mar Thoma Sunday School is held regularly on Sundays after worship. Bible Study, music practice, sacramental class, biblical and secular classes, games, prayer meetings, etc. are being provided through Sunday school. More than 50 children from different villages are participating regularly.

VBS was blessed with the active participation of 150 children. Fellowship meetings, house visits, and prayer meetings were conducted regularly among widows and widowers of various villages. Several programs were conducted in the mission centre to enrich the differently abled. Cottage prayer fellowship meetings were hosted in the houses of children and several children participate in these fellowships actively.
