Ankola Centre

With the blessings of the God almighty, the directives of the Metropolitan and magnificant guidance of Tirumeni the student's Ministry in this academic city is catered throught the students centre at Falnir, opposite to YMCA , Mangalore. The parents and the vicar of the concerned students contact the chaplain even before the admission and continue their pastoral relationship further. The students are enrolled with the data forms attached with photograph and they are maintained continueous contacts without failure, especially in their personal needs.


Stuents studying in various colleges in Mangalore continued to be the active strenght of our worship activities. As the church we continue to provide them the much needed care and comfort whenever possible. Many students are active participants of the Choir, Sunday School and yuvajana Sakhyam.

This year a One Day conference for our students was arranged on October 18, 2015. Rev. P T Jacob and family from Kumta led the session.

We could also conduct a retreat on November 01, 2015 on which the Rev. bibins Mathew Omanally, Assistant Secretary of Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam.

Special prayers will be conducted periodically prior to examinations and also preperatory classes were sheduled for empowering the students spiritually.

We could provide relevant media support by installing a project and laptop with the help of Student's Centre and well wisher of our parish.

There is a monthly studets prayer meeting at Deralaghatta. Along with Achen, Dr. Blessen Mathew is giving leadership.

Onam fellowship was celebrated with sumptuous food, flower columm  and plays. It was organized for the participation of the students.

Every ( Possible) Saturday Evening a Bible Study is being conducted for the benefit of the students who can not attend the Sunday worhsip.


Students meeting are offered immediately after the Holy Qurbana. 150-200 students are attending the Service. the studetns are given participation in bible reading, assisting and sermon. they are provided with snacks and tea after the service.

we could register a plot measuring thirty cents donated by Mrs. Sam G at Deralakhatta where many medical and engineering colleges are concentrated.


The rooms A/C  and non A/C available for rental are equipped this year with inverter to defend the extreme whether during power failiure.
